About the Festival of Education

Where those who inspire find their own inspiration.

Our Mission

The Festival of Education is dedicated to inspiring and empowering educators from all sectors. Our mission is to provide an inclusive platform for sharing innovative ideas, fostering meaningful discussions, and promoting professional growth in a vibrant, relaxed atmosphere.

We aim to cultivate a community where diverse perspectives are valued, and challenging debates are conducted with respect and professionalism. By bringing together passionate individuals dedicated to enhancing education, we strive to shape the future of learning and teaching.

Our History

The Festival of Education was founded by Wellington College Education in the UK in 2010, with a mission to create a vibrant platform where educators could come together to share ideas, spark innovation, and be inspired. Since then, it has grown into one of the most respected education events in the UK.

In 2026, the Festival of Education will make its debut in The Netherlands, with the very first Festival taking place in The Hague on 6 June. Hosted at the Edith Stein College, the event is organised by EducationScape in partnership with ToetsRevolutie, and supported by Wellington College Education. It will welcome hundreds of educators from across the Netherlands, Europe, and beyond, marking another exciting step in the Festival’s international journey.

Building on the Festival’s tradition, The Netherlands edition will provide an inclusive, dynamic, and inspiring environment where educators can connect, collaborate, and reimagine the future of learning together.
